As Vice President of Creative Partners West, Melinda Peffer is responsible for the supervision and management of public relations and marketing communications initiatives, including media relations, community relations, special events, speaking opportunities and the development of strategic marketing and advertising programs.

With nearly 15 years of experience, Ms. Peffer has developed and implemented award-winning campaigns for a wide range of higher education institutions as well as a variety of public and government organizations and other professional services companies throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. In addition, she has implemented marketing communications initiatives on behalf of UCLA, University of Southern California and the Los Angeles Community College District.

Her diverse knowledge in marketing communications includes media relations, public awareness and capital funding campaigns, cooperative initiatives, sponsorship/speaking opportunities; copy development for television, radio and print advertisements; direct mail programs, as well as web site concept and copy development.

Ms. Peffer has received numerous awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and other professional organizations, including four PRism Awards-the highest honor presented by PRSA for recognition of excellence in public/media relations. She has also been the recipient of several community outreach awards for her development of county and statewide public awareness campaigns.

She received a bachelor's degree in communications specializing in public relations from the University of Dayton in Ohio.
